Trey Somers

Trey Somers is an accomplished business leader with a career spanning 20+ years in professional services, information technology and telecommunications. He has held a myriad of executive roles in Fortune 500 companies to privately held IT services firms. Most recently, Trey was the senior director of OEM solutions for CommScope, a global leader in wired and wireless connectivity and infrastructure. Over his 15-year career at CommScope, he left his mark in many areas of the $8.5B company. Notably, he led a global services business focused on project management and design efforts for Fortune 500 clients. He also fully integrated and operated a Silicon Valley startup acquisition focused on intelligent lighting and IoT sensor technologies for smart buildings. Prior to CommScope, Trey led services and operations for two managed services companies focused on the mid-tier enterprise in Phoenix and Atlanta.

Trey is passionate about the evolution of the workplace and is focused on defining the next generation of the intelligent office.  

Trey has multiple degrees including his Bachelors in Sociology & Economics from Elon University and a Masters in Computer Information Systems. In his free time Trey is an avid reader, golfer, baseball coach, lifelong Braves fan, and father of three including a collegiate student athlete.
