Michael Lockwood

Michael Lockwood is a technology and operations leader with more than 15 years of experience in data center engineering, AI infrastructure, manufacturing operations, and program management. As Senior Manager of Data Center Engineering at Core42 AI, a G42 company, he leads AI data center and cluster infrastructure initiatives, helping organizations deliver scalable, high-performance computing environments.

Prior to joining Core42, Michael spent more than 14 years at Dell Technologies, where he held leadership roles across Program Management and Manufacturing Engineering. During his tenure, he supported the design, deployment, and execution of large-scale AI cluster and data center infrastructure projects, while driving operational improvements across global engineering and manufacturing organizations.

Michael's expertise spans AI infrastructure, data center readiness, cluster cabling design, liquid cooling technologies, deployment execution, and infrastructure operations. He has led cross-functional teams, developed global standards and assessment programs, and contributed to automation and training initiatives that improved efficiency and consistency across organizations.

With a career spanning solution design, manufacturing integration, deployment, and customer handoff, Michael brings an end-to-end perspective to complex infrastructure challenges.
