Mark Peters is an Account Executive within Align’s Data Center practice, where he leads strategic account management for Dell. His focus is on expanding and strengthening long-term relationships across the organization while supporting enterprise customers deploying large-scale AI infrastructure. Mark serves as a trusted advisor for complex data center initiatives, helping align technology solutions with evolving business needs.
With more than 30 years of global sales and leadership experience, Mark brings deep expertise across networking, structured cabling, and data center solutions. Prior to joining Align, he led the global sales and proposal organization for the Systems Integration division at Viasat, where he played a key role in transforming the business into a high-growth operation and supporting its successful divestiture to form Nessco. He remained with Nessco as President, leading efforts across branding, CRM implementation, contract negotiations, and the company’s overall launch.
Earlier in his career, Mark spent over a decade at CommScope in global account leadership roles and co-founded SystemNet, a structured cabling and networking company that was later acquired by Tyco. Mark is a multi-time Presidents Club award recipient known for building strong client partnerships and driving sustained growth. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Stephen F. Austin State University. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, golf, fishing, and hunting, and spending time with his wife of 31 years and their two Division I student-athlete children.
