Dan Lyons brings over 15 years of comprehensive experience as a seasoned technologist within the Alternative Investment sector to the Align team. With a track record of success, Dan has been instrumental in the launch of more than 500 Hedge Funds, Private Equity Firms, and Venture Capital entities. His expertise extends across all facets of IT, including mission-critical applications and cybersecurity, where he has provided invaluable consultation.

Notably, Dan has facilitated the seamless transition of over 300 firms from their existing Managed Service Providers (MSPs) or internal infrastructure setups to the dynamic landscape of the public cloud. His proficiency also extends to collaborating with the portfolio companies of Private Equity firms, guiding them towards optimizing their IT strategies and fortifying their cybersecurity measures.

A graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, Dan's journey into the technology realm was preceded by a dynamic career as a professional hockey player for the New Haven Knights in the United Hockey League. Beyond his professional pursuits, Dan is deeply engaged in community activities, dedicating his spare time to coaching youth hockey and girls' youth lacrosse, embodying his commitment to both personal and professional excellence.
