The Overview Align's Current State Assessment

Conducting a true current state assessment of the existing data center(s) consists of three components:

Get Started

Physical Inventory

Align puts ‘boots on the ground’ to conduct physical inventories of your data center environment. Using our Data Center Inventory (DCI) tool we are able to, non-intrusively, gather all attributes of the hardware including: location of the cabinet, location of the device within the cabinet, manufacturer, model, generation, u-height of the device, serial number, hostname and power status.

Logical
Inventory

Align utilizes best-of-breed, proprietary and opensource tools, to provide a complete and accurate understanding of software, system resource configurations and utilization of virtual infrastructure. Using client-deployed discovery tools, agentless appliance provided by Align, we will discover the logical inventory of IP-enabled assets.

Business Intelligence

Align becomes an extension of your team during any migration effort, especially in the discovery phase. Our team works with you to understand overall details of the project so we can build a project plan to meet your unique business needs.
