Align was engaged in the decommission and restoration of a 144,000 sq.ft. data center in Texas which was completed in August of 2020. At the project core Align coordinated, partnered and supervised subject matter experts and subcontractors in the areas of general contracting, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and construction to complete this scope.
Align has worked as a Prime GC on numerous Data Center decommissioning projects, which include electrical, mechanical, switching and general construction within raised floor environments, office and workplace, and UPS & battery room environments. Align has developed the required regional partnerships with the specialty firms and trades so that we are enabled to complete the required activities throughout the decommissioning and dilapidation project. Over the course of the project along with World Wide Electric Services we will be documenting through video the facets of this large restoration. We hope to shed some light on the size, scale and efficiency of which Align and our partners work cohesively to reduce the time, cost and risk associated with data center decommissioning projects.
