CRN had Vinod Paul, Align's Chief Operating Officer, weigh in on this as well. Vinod mentioned Align's particular focus on the alternative investment community and the implications that working closely with clients in this space has for Align's cybersecurity offerings: "Most of [our clients] are registered investment advisors. So not only do they have a fiduciary responsibility to their investors, they also have a legal responsibility to the SEC. Because of that, they have to have some security controls in place.”
