Q1: Am I eligible to add Microsoft 365 Copilot?
A1: For all Align IT Suite users, adding Microsoft 365 Copilot to your existing enterprise Subscription is easy. One of the features of Microsoft 365 Copilot is that it leverages data storage in SharePoint Online and OneDrive. As an Align IT Suite user, you should be sharing documents via this architecture. Copilot will only work with data in Microsoft 365. Please note that Microsoft 365 Copilot functionality in Microsoft Outlook requires the end users to use the newest version of Microsoft Outlook.
Q2: How much does Microsoft 365 Copilot cost?
A2: Microsoft Copilot is available as a paid subscription service. As of January 16, 2024, Microsoft 365 Copilot is $30 per license per month. Microsoft requires a Minimum 12-month subscription; please note that this subscription will renew unless cancelled with a minimum of 90 days’ notice before autorenewal. Once you request Microsoft 365 Copilot, you will see the 1st annual charge for it on your next monthly bill.
Q3: How do I request Microsoft 365 Copilot?
A3: To request Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses, you can visit the Align Portal at https://portal.align.com and fill out the request “Enable Copilot in your Microsoft 365 Tenant”. Once the request is submitted, your licenses will be purchased and assigned to the users specified. Please note that each Microsoft 365 Copilot requires an Annual commitment.
Q4: What is Microsoft 365 Copilot?
A4: Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 combines the power of large language models (LLMs) with your organization’s data – all in the flow of work – to turn your words into one of the most powerful productivity tools on the planet.

Q5: Ok, now that I have Microsoft 365 Copilot enabled, how do I use it?
A5: The URL to access Copilot over the web is:

Microsoft Office Applications should also show a Copilot button, allowing the user to leverage Copilot within the respective App.
Q6: I have a Copilot license, but I still do not see the Microsoft 365 Copilot icon within my Office 365 Applications.
What do I do?
A6: To leverage Microsoft 365 Copilot within the Microsoft Office Applications, you must be on the latest build of Office and leverage the “New Outlook” experience. Apps also need to be closed and reopened after the license has been assigned. If you are unsure about your version of Office, please reach out to the Align Help Desk.
Q7: I see the Microsoft 365 Copilot button in my Excel, but why is it grayed out?
A7: Copilot within Microsoft excel only works within files stored in OneDrive or SharePoint.
