Reports of Recent Microsoft Security Patches Impacting Domain Controllers

We were notified by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) that there have been problems reported by the May Microsoft Security Patches installing on Domain Controllers.

Please note, if you do not have Domain Controllers, this notice does not apply to your environment. 

What Align is Doing:  

• Disabled this patch from being installed for Domain Controllers only.
• Actively evaluating Microsoft's new Out-Of-Band (OOB) patches to ensure there is no negative impact while addressing the security issue.
