At Align, investing in the next generation of talent is a key part of how the Data Center team continues to grow and deliver for clients. Each summer, a select group of interns joins the team to gain hands-on exposure to the design, construction, and delivery of complex data center environments.
This year’s Data Center interns are supporting projects across critical phases of the build process, working alongside experienced professionals and gaining a firsthand look at how large-scale infrastructure comes to life. Get to know the interns joining the team this summer.
Roman Bondarchuk is a Cybersecurity student at the University of South Carolina Upstate and a Data Center Construction Management intern supporting Align’s Construction team. He was interested in learning how a data center is built and gaining hands-on exposure to the construction process. This summer, Roman is focused on enhancing his construction and leadership skills. Outside of Align, he enjoys playing sports and spending time with family and friends.
Emmanuel Montoya is an Economics student at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, supporting Align’s Data Center Design and Build team. He was drawn to the opportunity to broaden his knowledge while interacting with key members of the team and learning how they operate. This summer, Emmanuel is looking forward to gaining valuable experience, taking on more responsibility, and making the most of his time at Align. He is focused on developing his leadership, teamwork, and cognitive thinking skills. Outside of his studies, he enjoys exercising, playing sports, and traveling.
We’re excited to have this group join the Data Center team this summer and look forward to supporting their growth as they gain hands-on experience across active projects.
Stay tuned for a follow-up at the end of the program, where we’ll share more about what they learned, the skills they developed, and their experience supporting data center initiatives from the ground up.
