A leading global reinsurer needed to overhaul its technology in its offices located in New York and London, housing 200 traders and 500 total users. Align became responsible for help desk, network support, infrastructure projects, Wintel server projects and support, market data projects and support, and the trading floor move/add/change events.

To maintain and refresh our client’s technology, Align improved the Windows 2000 domain, Cisco network and CheckPoint firewall. A better communication plan enhanced service levels and the end user experience. The Align team added value by maintaining the client’s IT systems and holding regular project meetings, keeping them organized with exceptional tools like Asset Point, SMS and the PMO tool, and the help desk.

Align has been committed to the company for five years, with many planned upgrades. Some major projects include market data upgrades, a domain migration, an EMC NAS deployment, a Lotus Notes 8.0 migration and an EDC expansion. Help desk support is offered 24/365.
